This week marked the start of the 2 x/week Garden of the Gods training runs. 6am (well, a 5am wake up call really) and the darkness come pretty early, but there's something about being surrounded by 122ish (yes, that's how many came to the first run) people all crowded around one set of car headlights that somehow pumps you up to run at that hour. I haven't done these runs in years past, but decided when the scheduling suits me I'm going to make the effort! Since I am an official Triple Crown registrant, every time I want to just snooze that alarm...I remember the Garden 10 mile is June 13th and it will be here before I know it! Thanks for the time and laughs, Jess...I've so enjoyed these mornings:).
